How do I download MoodRing?

iOS: Find MoodRing in the App Store and install the app. Remember, you cannot use MoodRing without the AWARE app. Find instructions for installing AWARE here

How do I make sure I receive notifications?

It is important to receive app notifications from MoodRing. These notifications will update you when there is new information to view and also alert you if the app ever requires some troubleshooting. To ensure that you receive notifications: 

iOS: Go to Menu > Settings > Notification Settings and save. 

Android: Go to Menu > Settings > Notification Settings and save. Next, you’ll want to make sure your phone is giving MoodRing the right permissions. Go to Settings and find MoodRing by searching within your Apps or Notifications. Confirm any appropriate notification settings are set to “on.”

What if I forget my password? 

If you forget your password for the MoodRing App, reach out to the research team at sovalab@pitt.edu

What happens if I delete the MoodRing App? 

If you delete the MoodRing app, just re-download it and log-in. You can make sure that your data is up to date by clicking the fetch my data button in settings.

What happens if I get a new device?

If you get a new device, just re-download the MoodRing app and log-in. You can use the directions detailed above (see What happens if I delete the MoodRing App?) to make sure your app is up to date.

Please also remember to re-download the AWARE app if you get a new device. Instructions for downloading AWARE on a new device are available on the AWARE app page.
